Office Policies

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligation for work or family. Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. “No-shows”, and late cancellations inconvenience those individuals who need access to medical care in a timely manner. We would like to remind you of our office policy regarding missed appointments. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care.

Appointments, Cancellations & No Shows

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other patients, please be courteous and call IgniteRx Medical promptly if you are unable to keep your appointment. Preferably 24 hours in advance prior to the appointment.

A no show fee of $50 will be billed to your account for any missed appointment with our clinicians that was not cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. This is the patient’s responsibility and cannot be billed to the insurance company.

A no show fee of $30 will be billed to your account for any missed appointments with our massage therapist that was not cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance. This is the patient’s responsibility and cannot be billed to the insurance company.

We understand that special unavoidable circumstances may cause you to cancel within 24 hours. Fees in this instance may be waived but only with management approval.

New patients must arrive 30 minutes prior to their first appointment in order to complete the necessary paperwork.

Copays

Co-payments must be paid prior to seeing the physician on the date service is rendered. Patients are responsible for their deductibles or charges not reimbursed by insurance. A $5 fee for copays not paid at time of service will be added to your account.

Self-pay patients are required to pay for services prior to being seen for their visit and will be balance billed for the remainder of the fees at the time of charge posting.

Returned Check

Returned checks made payable to this office for insufficient funds, stop payments or other reason for non-payment will be assessed a $35 NSF fee for which the patient will be held responsible.

Prescription Policy

Please allow your pharmacy up to 48 hours to process your refill request. The pharmacist may need to check with your physician. Some prescriptions cannot be refilled if you have not seen your physician within the last 6 months.

If you have mail away prescriptions, please allow 7-10 business days for the necessary forms to be completed. It is very important you plan ahead with mail away prescriptions to allow us adequate time to get all the paperwork completed.
